Presiding Elder Vincent E. Farris is the son of Emma T. Johnson and the late Dennis Cooke. He is one of eight children. Elder Farris is married to the former Felice Moria Dean, and they have three children and two loving granddaughters.

He received his early education in the Fayette County Public School System (KY) and is currently enrolled at Simmons Bible College (AY) where he is seeking a degree in Christian Education.

Elder Farris answered the Call into the Ministry in 1996 under the pastoral guidance of Elder Wendell Oldham. Rev. Farris has had the pleasure to be Pastor at the following churches: Corinth C.M.E. (Winchester, KY); Allen Chapel (Winchester, KY); Loving Union C.M.E. Church (Bowling Green, KY); St. Paul (Owingsville, KY); Woods Chapel (Millersburg, KY); Johnson Memorial (Ashland, KY); and Keas Tabernacle CME Church (Mt. Sterling, KY).

He presently serves as the Presiding Elder of the Louisville-Lexington District of the Kentucky Region of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Presiding Elder Farris is a Servant of the Highest GOD who loves to serve the people.
